• Renewable energy company secures ISO 55001 certification as it continues to strengthen its value proposition and expand portfolio

Red Rock Power Limited has been awarded the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) certification for Asset Management by the British Standards Institution. The ISO 55001 certification underpins its ‘value-based’ asset management strategy as the company continues to optimise current wind energy projects and grow its renewable energy portfolio.

Red Rock Power is one of a handful of renewable energy generation companies in the world to attain the ISO 55001 certificate and the Scotland-based team considers the award an important step forward in its pursuit of best-in-class asset management.

Guy Madgwick, CEO, at Red Rock Power Limited, said: “The year-long process of securing ISO 55001 and implementing this across our assets has seen us raise our own standards of good practice. We are confident this demonstrates the value, quality and credibility we bring to our operations as we continue to form new partnerships and grow our portfolio of renewable energy projects in the UK and Europe.”

The International certification recognises the robust, flexible and sustainable working practices which are enabling increased efficiency and consistency across Red Rock Power’s growing portfolio. Those practices play a key role in the company’s ‘value-based’ approach and efforts to optimise operational assets, including onshore wind farms Afton in South West Scotland, Överturingen in Central Sweden (50% owned) and Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm in north Scotland (25% owned), as well Inch Cape Offshore Wind farm (50% owned) and Benbrack Onshore Wind Farm both currently in development.
