Red Rock Power has partnered with Windscope to support the development of its AI-driven wind turbine monitoring system. The system will alert asset owners to impending faults and failures, creating an opportunity to mitigate or minimise downtime. Windscope will use live data from Afton Wind Farm, alongside data from other renewables industry ‘Beta stage partners’, and receive valuable feedback from our Asset Management team over the next six months.

Joe Donnelly, CEO of Windscope, said: “It’s a pleasure to be working with Red Rock Power as a Beta development partner to further test and validate the Windscope platform ahead of our full launch in Summer this year. Wind sector third party supply chains have potential to radically improve turbine O&M, and through collaborations like this with Red Rock Power, we can drive toward better, more integrated O&M for owners and operators of wind turbines.”

John Crawford, Asset Manager at Red Rock Power, added: “The Windscope system aligns with our proactive approach to asset management. As an asset owner we are continually looking at new methods to better detect and mitigate failures ahead of time. We are delighted to be collaborating with forward thinking companies, like Windscope, that are developing innovative products and services designed to minimise downtime across the wider renewables industry.”
